Sweet dreams are made of...these.
A little flour, a little sugar, some butter and an oven.
Baking with beurre was created on the day when I was ready to move on to the next stage in life; after trading my work desk and paperwork for the kitchen and a fantastic opportunity to work with flour, sugar and butter.
I've been incredibly blessed to have the support of my immediate families and close friends...especially from my in laws, for the precious funding and the support from my dearest hubby, Ben...to pursue what I really want to do - baking.
With their blessings and support, I've enrolled myself in Le Cordon Bleu in Dusit Thani, Bangkok, Thailand to take up a diploma course in Patisserie. This coming April, I'll be starting school and a brand new school life on my own in Bangkok. Needless to say, I'm extremely thrilled and yet scared of the whole prospect of doing all that on my own.
Most importantly, I am scared of my dream, but hey - if you ain't scared of your dreams, your dreams ain't big enough, they say!
Moving on, this blog will serve as my diary, documenting bits and pieces about me, my life and baking journey...with improved photography skills (I'm an amateur) with my trusty Pentax Q10 camera, I hope to be able to share with you lovely pictures of everything sweet.
I guess that pretty much sums up my first post on my new blog - feel free to drop by at Hundred Pleats where I've first started out blogging and baking for a short period of time.
Till then!
